One of my favorite inspirations for painting are my travels. Whenever I venture outside of my hometown I can't help but capture snapshots of everything that catches my eye. Often I aquire much more content than I will ever get around to painting. I began this work in person and finished in the comfort of the unweathered indoors for better focus on the details. I like to paint en plein air whenever convenient because it helps me feel much more connected to the mood of the environment and what feelings I wish to capture in my art.
